Zoro accepts the challenge and the two begin to fight. Zoro is clearly the superior swordsman and quickly defeats Luffy. However, Luffy refuses to give up and continues to fight. Impressed by Luffy’s determination, Zoro agrees to join the crew.
The episode ends with the crew setting sail for the Grand Line, with Zoro now a part of the Straw Hat Pirates.
